Interested in hosting successful events with authors or other experts but don't know where to start? Join us and our panel of local authors and librarians to discuss how to orchestrate and conduct a well-planned event!
The panel will discuss organizing and promoting your event and you will work with other attendees to generate a checklist to customize for your library.
Hear from local authors like David Linzee, Amanda E. Doyle, Sandra Thompson Williams, and from fellow colleagues, Jeff Bargielski of Francis Howell Middle School, and Sara Nielson of St. Charles City County Library District, and others, as they give tips and best practices for hosting events at your library!
Registration: $10 for SLRLN or SLA members, $20 for non-members
Please note: registration closes on 9/20
After our event, consider joining us for our "dutch-treat" post workshop networking luncheon at 1:00 p.m. at Hendels. Please let us know if you will be joining us, as Hendels will be reserving space.
